love, faith, and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.”

“Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth…”
This page will be dedicated to young people.
My goal is to encourage and answer questions you may be struggling with.
I pray every day for our youth. Our youth today face many more problems
than I did when I was younger.
There will be materials related to you put on this page from time to time.
May we grow together in God’s Word.

“Only be strong and very courageous…” (Joshua 1)
God told Joshua, a young man several times to be strong and courageous.
Joshua had big shoes to fill, the shoes of Moses who had led God’s children
for quite some time. It was a big job, but as the old saying goes “somebody
had to do it.” God chose Joshua and was with him all the way. Though you
may be young and feel you are limited in what you can do, don’t be, because
God can use you as He did Joshua to do great things.
When Feeling Alone or Troubled
One of the great things in life is that we are never really alone. I know when
I was growing up my parents used to tell me “God is watching you.” As a
young person that kind of bothered me. It was meant to keep me from getting
into trouble I know, but I did not understand it then. But now as I look
back I wish I would have understood it differently. God doesn’t watch over
us waiting for us to make a mistake or get into trouble, He watches over us to
help us avoid those things. When you are feeling down or troubled or alone,
you always have someone to talk to, to share your burden with. God cares
for you and loves you. Talk to Him in prayer. It doesn’t have to be anything
formal just let Him know how you feel.
Giants In Life – 1st Samuel 17
In this chapter, we meet a young man by the name of David.
David had been sent out by his father to take some things to his brothers who
were on the battlefield. David was the youngest of the brothers. When he got
there he found that the Philistines led by a giant named Goliath was mocking
God’s people. David could not understand why nobody did anything. But they
all said, “Can’t you see how big that giant is? None of us want to fight him.”
But David understood that with God on his side, even this giant was no obstacle
and it was this young boy who couldn’t even wear the armor of a soldier because
it was too big, took 5 stones and a slingshot and took the giant down. Young
people many times have much more courage. I want to encourage you to be a
person of courage, to stand up for what is right and to speak out against what is
wrong. Be the leaders that the world needs. It is time to change things for the
better and you as young people can lead the charge.
I am hoping that if you have a Bible question that you will ask it by
